WHY IT'S CRAVED
The Cascara Club is an aguas frescas style drink which marries the fruity rasin and cacao flavours of the Bolivian cascara with hibiscus and fresh lime. The recipe is a result of a collaboration between Ed & Robyn, Climpsons & Sons Coffee Roastery, and local artist Guy Roberts, whose label was inspired by Bolivian shop signage and coffee plantation imagery.
Cascara is the coffeecherry, i.e. the berry that's left once the seeds are separated, dried, and roasted. Often a by-product of the coffee industry, cascara (Spanish for "husk") is often infused in hot water and drunk as a tea in coffee producing countries.
