WHY IT'S CRAVED
A California Common (a hybrid of ale and lager styles) beer, brewed with ale malt and lager hops. It has a nice, crisp taste with a slightly malty finish.
For the uninitiated: California Common is a brewing style that originated in the 1700s, whereby beer was produced in warm temperatures (due to a lack of access to refrigeration at the time) with lager yeast. As a result, the beer has a very distinctive flavour profile, with characteristics of both ale and lager. It's also known as a "steam beer", hence the name of this particular brew.
Water, Malted barley, Hops, Yeast.
