WHY IT'S CRAVED

Smoked with beech and aged on oak chips - the smoked brown connects to the brewing history of London where malt used to be dried over open fires and then brewed into a dark beer.

The Smoked Brown started off as a home brew in Paul and Jack's flat, where they found the perfect balance for the beer. Now it's a favourite with chefs who are looking for drinks to pair with their food.

HOW WE LIKE IT

The smokey hoppiness works really well with mature hard cheeses, seafood and summer bbq meats.

Anspach & Hobday

Paul Anspach and Jack Hobday met each other in kindergarten and have been friends ever since. They went to school together, they have been flat mates, and they now run a brewery together that bears both of their names.

They summarise their mission simply as "to create a better beer experience”....
